Braselton/Hoschton, Georgia - Engineering - Full Time

The Electrical Engineer will play a critical role in the design, modeling, and testing of our electric machines. Focusing on electromagnetic design and modeling tailored for specific industry applications, this role is vital to the continued innovation and excellence of our products. Working closely with senior engineers, the Electrical Engineer will bring expertise in the intricacies of electric machines and contribute directly to the evolution of our technology.

Location: Braselton/Hoschton, Georgia

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform Electromagnetic Finite Element Analysis (FEA) for the design and optimization of electric machines.

  • Prepare detailed wiring diagrams for motor configurations.

  • Test electric motors using a variety of controllers.

  • Collaborate with senior engineers to ensure designs meet specifications and industry standards.

  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of design methodologies and best practices.

 

Requirements:

  • Demonstrable competence in Electromagnetic FEA for rotating machines.

  • Proficiency in circuit analysis and simulation techniques.

  • Expertise in learning and running control software.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in interdisciplinary teams and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

 

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited College or University.

  • Prior co-op or internship experience in a related field.

  • A Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering is preferred.
