2024 SOLAR SPLASH WORLD CHAMPIONS
The Cedarville University Solar Boat team transitioned to the Peregrine P40 72V motor to compete in the 2024 Solar Splash competition, achieving a perfect score in the racing categories: slalom, endurance and sprint. Their previous Hawk40 72V motor placed 2nd in 2021, 1st in 2022, and 2nd in 2023. With this year's winning, Cedarville reclaims the championship title for the 14th time over the competition's 30 year duration. Congratulations!

2nd PLACE FOR STEVENS INSTITUTE
Congrats to Stevens Institute for placing 2nd at the 2024 ASNE Navy PEP competition - promoting electric propulsion for small craft, with their Peregrine P40, 72V motor. The motor reached 20+ knots on a 48V battery pack. There were 42 boats from 34 universities, 200 student engineers working at competing for racing honors on a 5 mile course. Another top 3 finish by a DHX sponsored team.

We're assembling and testing rotors with laminated magnets, again. We operate beyond colors for dollars, we specialize in hardware.

AUTOMATE
We use AI to design and build custom apps, whether it is for tracking inventory or planning next gen BOMs. We code and collaborate; we design-build-test.

PAIRING & TUNING OF KESTREL k60S
Pairing and tuning controllers/inverters are a science and an art. We have a couple of orders pushing out this month for a number of different controllers. We speak gains and limits.

Looking back to when a 96V Hawk40 motor powered the winning team in the 2019 Wye Island Marathon race, Cedarville University winning the 2022 World Solar Splash competition with their custom 72V Hawk40, the University of Michigan placing second in American Society of Naval Engineers 2021 PEP competition with their 96V Hawk40, and Stevens Institute coming third in the 2019 World Solar Splash competition with their custom 72V Hawk40.

Happy New Year! DHX has been super busy testing PEREGRiNE alpha prototypes in December and January. We have also been working on some exciting product development contracts in the aerospace industry ranging from tiny drone motors to 1MW e-aviation motors. Onward and upward.

PEREGRINE & KESTREL TESTING
We have been testing KESTREL AND PEREGRiNE alpha prototypes for a couple of months now on the test bench. A small group of alpha+ testers has received batch 1 and 2. The next group and will receive the batch 3 in a couple of weeks for independent testing. We look forward to your feedback for improvements and enhancements.

SUPER HAWK 160 ROTOR TESTING
DHX concluded testing on the gen 3 rotor achieving 147kW, 200Nm, 7000RPM, 195hp. With additional cooling and some tech tweaks.... stay tuned.

Manufacturing of the PEREGRiNE low voltage motor series P20, 40, 60 for alpha+ testers has commenced.

The University of Michigan's Michigan Solar Sea team placed second in the Promoting Electric Propulsion Competition hosted by ASNE, racing their custom electric boat on a 5 lap, 1 mile endurance course, using a DHX sponsored power train consisting of a Hawk40 96V motor, controller, and wire harness.
